Give a place
Somebody you love is about to become a parent.
You can hold a place for the two of them, and let it be waiting when they are ready to walk into it.
They arrive with no price anywhere near them.
A letter reaches them saying a place is held, and who held it. They choose the room in Melbourne or their own pace, wherever they are. What it cost stays with you.
Say it in your own words.
Your name on it, or none at all. A line to them if you want one, and it reaches them exactly as you wrote it, down to the pause before their name.
What you are giving
- Eight evenings, the two of them, before their child arrives
- A vow they write themselves, and say out loud on the last night
- Five other couples who become the people they telephone at midnight
- $400, once
Their names, and your line to them exactly as you want it read. A real person answers you, never a form.
Giving it for a shower, or for two people who would rather it came quietly? Say so and a person answers: wepromise@itoshigo.family
Every child arrives carrying a wonder that belongs to no other person who has ever lived.
